Couture Milliner & Luxury Hat Designer

Luxury hats and headpieces

Maria Monica London is a luxury hat designer and couture millinery house, handcrafting occasion hats and headpieces for women in London. Collections span pillbox hats, wide brim hats, boaters, berets and sculptural headpieces, made for Royal Ascot, weddings, the races and the season.

Every piece is blocked and finished by hand in the London atelier by Monika Perlińska, who trained in Philip Treacy's atelier and was head milliner at Jane Taylor. Any design can be made to order in the colour you choose, or drawn from the beginning as a bespoke commission.

Bespoke services

A bespoke commission begins with a conversation. The occasion, the outfit and the way you wish to be seen. Monika draws the piece, blocks it by hand in the London atelier and finishes it in the colour you choose. Each one is made once, for one person.

How to commission a hat, from first email to final fitting

A commission is five stages: the first conversation, the colour match, blocking, a fitting, and finishing. It takes one to four weeks for a remake of an existing design and longer for something new...
