Maria Monica London Millinery is a milliner and hat designer in London, making hats and headpieces entirely by hand. Every piece is designed by master milliner Monika Perlińska (Monika Ciesielkiewicz), who spent about five years in Philip Treacy's London atelier and around seven as head milliner at Jane Taylor. Hats she made by hand in those workrooms have been worn by the Royal Family.

Appointments are held at the London studio by arrangement, and worldwide by video call.

What happens at an appointment

An hour with Monika. She measures your head, sketches the shape against your outfit and shows you the straw, felt and hand-dyed crin she would use. You choose the colour. Nothing is made until the drawing is right.

Designer hats, custom made

Designer hats made one at a time: pillbox hats, wide brim and picture hats, boaters, fedoras and trilbies, cocktail hats, fascinators, headbands, turbans and birdcage veils, for women and for men. Every shape can be made to your own head measurement in the colour you choose.
