Measure your head first
Run a soft tape about one centimetre above the ears and across the middle of the forehead, level the whole way round. Measure over the hair you intend to wear on the day. 56 to 57cm is the most common fitting.
How to measureHat, headpiece or headband
A brim gives shade and drama and needs room around you. A headpiece gives height in a seated row or under a low ceiling. Headbands and veiled pieces are one size, so no measurement is needed.

How do I know what size hat to order?
Run a soft tape measure around your head about one centimetre above the ears and across the middle of the forehead, keeping it level and snug. Read it in centimetres and measure over the hair you plan to wear on the day. Most people take a 56 to 57cm fitting. If you fall between two sizes, take the larger one.
How long does delivery take?
Within the United Kingdom, 3 to 5 business days at £20.00. The United States is £70.00 in 5 to 8 business days, and everywhere else starts at £45.00. Every parcel is tracked, insured and signed for. There is no express or next day service, because each piece travels in a rigid hatbox.
Can I have a piece made in a different colour?
Yes. Any design here can be remade in another colour as a commission. Monika matches the colour by hand to a swatch, a photograph or a piece of your own fabric. The hat is then blocked to your own head measurement. Allow one to four weeks from the first conversation to the finished piece.
Can I return a hat that does not fit?
A ready to wear piece ordered online can be returned within fourteen days of delivery, unworn and in its own hatbox with the tissue and tags intact. Return postage is arranged and paid by you. A ready to wear piece bought at an appointment may be exchanged within 48 hours and is not refundable. Bespoke and made to order pieces cannot be returned unless faulty.
